Analogue & Digital Transfers
We provide duplication services such as digitising, video & audio restoration, standards conversion and digital file encoding.
With our expertise and technology we can produce high-quality transfers to digital format of most broadcast videotapes (such as Digi-beta, DVCAM and HDV) as well as consumer-level formats like mini DV and VHS.
We can provide you with a finished master on either DVD, Blu-Ray, or as digital files in the format of your choosing.
Based in Glastonbury, Somerset, we are well placed to serve the surrounding area of Bath, Bristol, Yeovil and Taunton as well as offering our services nationally.
Within 15 years' experience of working in the post production industry, Alex spent 5 of those working as a media operator at Ascent Media/4MC (Wardour Street, Soho).
He worked with every broadcast videotape format imaginable and also extensively in encoding, audio laybacks, restoration and full broadcast QC’s for clients such as Universal, BBC, Abbey Road and Paramount.

Digitising Services
We transfer a vast range of broadcast videotape formats and also consumer-level recordings to digital files.

Digital File Encoding
We can encode your video or audio to any format for digital distribution or editing - from ProRes 4444 XQ to MP4 and everything in-between.
Video Restoration
We use a combination of hardware and software tools to restore your video and audio.

Blackmagic Teranex 2D processor, Blackmagic Ultrastudio 4K, Blackmagic SDI & HDMI switchers, Blackmagic Hyperdeck Studio, Blackmagic Synch Generator, Snell & Wilcox ARC 125, Snell & Wilcox Alchemist Platinum, Snell & Wilcox Mach 1, Snell & Wilcox compression pre-processor.
Video Restoration Processes:
DeInterlace, up/down conversion, cross conversion, standards conversion, noise reduction, time base corrector, cadence detect and remove, adjustable scaling, aspect ratio conversion.
Software:
After Effects, Topaz Video AI, DaVinci Resolve, Digital Anarchy, Boris FX and Red Giant.
Video Restoration Processes:
DeFlicker, DeInterlace, DeBand, DeBlock, DeArtefact, DeNoise, Broadcast Safe, dropout fixer, digital video fixer, lens corrector, dust and scratches clean-up, noise reduction, optical stabiliser, re-framer, pixel fixer, UpRes, wire removal, Beauty Studio.
AI Video Restoration:
Noise removal, DeInterlace, 4K upscale, 8x slow motion, stabilisation, correction of rolling shutter and jittery motion, motion DeBlur, adding film grain.
Audio Restoration
We can digitise and restore analogue recordings using a range of software including AI.
Software:
Adobe Encore, DaVinci Fairlight, Boris FX, CrumpolePOP, Apple Logic.
Audio Restoration Processes:
EQ and dynamics processing, noise reduction, seperating stems.
Photographic Transfer
We transfer your negatives and slides to 14 mega pixel JPEGs, supplied to you on a DVD, USB stick or via WeTransfer.

We also transfer mobile phones photo or videos, hard drives out of casing and old memory cards (SD Card etc.. mention all cards) to USB sticks.
DUPLICATION SERVICES
WORKING WITH THE NATIONAL GALLERY
In 2023 we partnered with The National Gallery to undertake the digital archiving and restoration of their entire videotape collection.
Producing high-quality digital transfers from a range of formats including U-Matic, Betacam, DAT, Hi8, DVCam, MiniDV and HDV.
We also provided services to log the footage in detail and extract searchable metadata enabling the historic content to be easily accessed.
